A very colorful Africa in It's a Small World, Disneyland, CA on a vintage postcard.
Psychedelic art surrounds a San Francisco cable car and flower stand. Postcard naturally c.1960s!
For natural Bright Light Colors we go to Alaska for the Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis.
Next week brings the new theme of Cities. First up will be Asian Cities.
Ah yes, It's a Small World, the ride you take when you just want to sit for a bit. The downside: the song. Over and over and over and over again. Yeah, you come out of that boat ride with that tune stuck in your head.

ReplyDeleteThe postcards are far out! I was on the it’s a small world ride both at the 1964 worlds fair and at Disney World. It’s theme music is an instant ear worm and now it’s running in my head once again
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought they were sliding down the elephants trunk in Small World, but on a closer look realised it was a more animal friendly serenade. A gloriously colourful scene. Of course the second card immediately triggered the first line of the song Lets go to San Francisco, Be sure to wear flowers in your hair'.
