We haven't had a freeze yet this year.  Night before last it was 36° but the forecast for the next ten days shows 40s and even a few 50s as lows.  Some of these flowers will be shocked when the freezing nights finally occur!

Brown-Eyed Stella daylily is not sold as a rebloomer, but here it is, although not at its best.

I wonder if this bearded iris will have time to actually open?

The Black-eyed Susans are flowering again.

It's not unusual for the prostrate rosemary to be blooming, it blooms nearly 12 months of the year solid.  It's unusual for nearly November to have honey bees though.  So many you can hear the buzzing when you walk by.

The lack of freezing temperatures isn't helping Mickey's allergies.  They went away after the shot he had at the vet's last month, which didn't late the estimated 6-8 weeks.  So, back he went yesterday.  At least I didn't have to walk!  I did take him on a pre-vet visit walk though, with my dog walking shoes, to sort of fool him.  Came back and my son was able to get him into the car.  Well, was able to throw the blanket over his head and put him into the car!  Getting him in again to come home was difficult.  As soon as he saw my son waiting at the car with the open back, he panicked and tried to get back into the vet's.  Poor guy.  He did get a big Pup Cup on the way home (a place here give big ones with biscuits stuck in!), which he saved until he was safely back inside.

Two of his latest photos.  A lady at the vet's mentioned his eyeliner!  People often do.

Tomorrow's the last Autumn Color theme for Thursday Postcard Hunt.  Come back and see what I found for Black and/or Halloween!
