Some very random things today.

A sign someone left on one of the park's dog run gates.   It's true, a dog with a muzzle isn't necessarily "bad" or a biter.

These bathing babies were seen in the Goodwill Outlet (the Bins)!  I'll guess they are educational dolls of some sort, probably expensive when new.

The pomegranate is flowering. I've never gotten them to form fruit.

Funny pet toys at the Dollar Tree.  Cats get knock-off names, the dogs get brand names!

Speaking of cats... Baby Cat shows a sign of intelligence when she's hot!  She's not the brightest cat we've had.  She will walk across the dog when he's sleeping on the sofa.  Naturally he jumps up snapping, which I don't correct.  After all, if we had something jump on us with sharp nails when we were sleeping, we'd react that way too!  Plus, he's not really awake at the time, and calms right down when he is.

School is starting up in a few weeks, so the school is getting prepared.  A man was getting all the balls lost last year off the roof.  This was only one part of the playground full of balls!

My street is being repaved starting today.  There's been a sign up for a few weeks telling us it will be closed from one cross street to another, and to make "alternate arrangements." But... no notice to residents whether we need to move our cars to another street or not.  I emailed public works, which shows they handle street repairs, but no one got back to me.  Hopefully that means they'll go one side at a time, letting residents through.  They still should have answered me back.

Not even mid-August, but summer's end is showing.  Most of the colors are gone from the front yard.  Lavender, daylilies (for the most part), coreopsis... all done with for the season.

Tomorrow's Tuesday Treasures is all about ephemera from St. Vincent de Paul during June's half-off sale.  Since they got a new manager last month there has been very little to interest me.  The Goodwill nearest me moved.  Same city, but not as convenient for me.  My son and I went Saturday and neither of us found anything,  nothing was even tempting.
