Thursday Postcard Hunt's March theme is Animals.  This first week starts us off with Animals in the Wild.

    1. Some ground squirrels do look like chipmunks, but they won't have striped on their heads. That's a chipmunk thing. I am familiar with Golden Mantled ground squirrels, which have the stripes like the one here, and California ground squirrels, that don't have any stripes.

  3. The squirrel looks similar to a chipmunk, except for his tiny ears and short face. Then there's the huge antlers of the bull moose! Javelina is a cute name for what google says is also called a skunk pig! So, I'm learning about two new wild animals :)

  7. Cute squirrel, its always fascinating how animals navigate thorns and also birds that nest in thorny hedges. Humans not as clever, or is that just me.
