Thursday Postcard Hunt's March theme is Animals.  This first week starts us off with Animals in the Wild.

    OMG! Look at the squirrel (looks like a chipmunk)! so cute! The elk and boar's faces are cute too :-)

      Some ground squirrels do look like chipmunks, but they won't have striped on their heads. That's a chipmunk thing. I am familiar with Golden Mantled ground squirrels, which have the stripes like the one here, and California ground squirrels, that don't have any stripes.

    The squirrel looks similar to a chipmunk, except for his tiny ears and short face. Then there's the huge antlers of the bull moose! Javelina is a cute name for what google says is also called a skunk pig! So, I'm learning about two new wild animals :)

    Cute squirrel, its always fascinating how animals navigate thorns and also birds that nest in thorny hedges. Humans not as clever, or is that just me.
