OMG! Look at the squirrel (looks like a chipmunk)! so cute! The elk and boar's faces are cute too :-)
ReplyDeleteSome ground squirrels do look like chipmunks, but they won't have striped on their heads. That's a chipmunk thing. I am familiar with Golden Mantled ground squirrels, which have the stripes like the one here, and California ground squirrels, that don't have any stripes.
DeleteThe squirrel is brave to walk on that thorny branch!
ReplyDeleteThe squirrel looks similar to a chipmunk, except for his tiny ears and short face. Then there's the huge antlers of the bull moose! Javelina is a cute name for what google says is also called a skunk pig! So, I'm learning about two new wild animals :)
ReplyDeleteThat elk looks like it should join in the fat bear contest...
ReplyDelete...the Antelope Ground Squirrel is cute.
ReplyDeleteThat tiny squirrel is really cute, I wish ours were that small!
ReplyDeleteCute squirrel, its always fascinating how animals navigate thorns and also birds that nest in thorny hedges. Humans not as clever, or is that just me.
ReplyDeleteOh, love these--especially that first one. :)
