They're not real ones. Still pretty though. When I was little we'd find them on N. Calif. beaches, off Japanese fishing boats. We had a fish pond, so floated them in that.
It never occurred to me they are only a west coast thing! Of course you don't get Japanese fishing boat net floats washed up on your beaches! They were much thicker glass.
