Day 5: The Numbers Game #97

Welcome to “The Numbers Game #97”. Today’s number is 219. To play along, go to your photos file folder and type that number into the search bar. Then post a selection of the photos you find that include that number and post a link to your blog in my Numbers Game blog of the day.

Day #5 of NaBloPoMo

About this... I am visiting the blogs on the participant list.  I will visit them all.  However, if you use Wordpress I may not be able to leave a comment.  Wordpress wants me to sign in when I enter my email, but I had deleted my account.  No way around it without a new email, new account.  Some blogs are set to accept anonymous comments, and I try to remember to add my name and blog URL then.  Or, some accept my Google info.  I am not ignoring you!

  1. Oh my, what a mess. Wouldn't it be cool if there was some way to reset an old email at Wordpress? I mean, I'm sure they could figure that out, but they'd have to want to do it, and getting in contact with them isn't easy.

    1. I dislike using Wordpress. It was okay when I just posted on someone else's account, but I don't find it user friendly at all. Even making a post isn't as cut and dried. Not that Blogger is perfect, I still get some formatting issues, but it's much easier to use.

  2. Hi this is Daria from momofchildren.com
I have the same issue with blogspot! That’s why I usually start my comment with hi, this is Daria from NJ lol then I add my blog -if I remember.
    Bloody technology.
By the way, I am Russian, and I love pigs feet.

  5. It's funny, I have that same problem but on Blogger. I have to open a third browser where I am signed into my blogging account in gmail, or I can't leave a comment (I refuse to sign in as my real name). It sucks when you can't leave a comment on a blog!
This is a fun idea. I don't keep any photos on my actual computer, and my external hard drive is not working at the moment. But I kind of want to try this now! I'll see if I can make it happen. It will probably be pictures of my cats or some random thing I wanted to show my family. ;)

  6. Wordpress is so frustrating!!!! I am having such a hard time with it. I even HAVE a Wordpress blog, but it expects me to sign in anew to every other Wordpress blog. SIGH. I am also having trouble with gmail.

I love your numbers game. Super fun!

  7. I'm struggling with wordpress blogs also. I'm here visiting from the NaBloPoMo list. This is a fun game. I just did the search in my photos. I came up with a photo of an empty high school hallway and a price of something at Costco and then two contacts that I'd screen shotted. 219 is an area code in Indiana, which isn't far from where I live in the Chicago suburbs. In other words, not very exciting photos to share.

  8. For me, it's really just the blogs that are hosted on Wordpress.com that are tricky, because of the login. But then again, I also have trouble with blogger sometimes, when it won't let me use my Google account, but I have to fill in name and URL instead. You'd think this would all be easier. thanks for trying :)

  9. The different blogging platforms really are a nuisance when it comes to connecting. I am not comfortable with the google log in but I bit the bullet in order to be able to comments.
