Items from various thrifting excursions.
First, the Goodwill Bins.
Herbert Hoover photograph and signature. Sure the backing cardboard is rotten, but the photo and signature paper are fine. If this is worth what people are asking for them online it will be for sale!
If the descriptions for similar ones online are accurate, it's late 1880s to early 1900s, possibly Dutch. cookie press. In that case, valuable. However, this third makes a collection of wooden molds, so I'll keep it! The three are all displayed in my kitchen.
It's a trio of unidentified animals. One online image search insisted they are rabbits, even the one on the right that looks like a fish to me. Mine has better carvings that the ones shown in the link (unless they sold, in which case they won't show at all if you look).
On to a Goodwill store.
1950s "Poodle Pal" desk caddy. Originally had a pen/letter opener/ruler as a tail, and a small sponge as a poodle topknot that was kept damp to moisten stamps and envelope flaps. Redware from Japan. Surprisingly, this was only $2.24. My fourth piece of redware pottery.
...quite a haul.
