Thursday Postcard Hunt - Colors of Autumn - Red
The Colors of Autumn continues with Red as the theme this week for Thursday Postcard Hunt.
One of my newly acquired postcards, a Town Crier in a red coat.
The little red Mt. Pleasant Rural School (dates from c. 1880) and Our Savior's Lutheran Church (founded in 1898 by Danish immigrants)

Last week for a Yellow I posted Georgia O'Keeffe's Yellow Calla,
this week I've got her Red Callas painted in 1927, the year after the yellow one.
Next week's Autumn Color is Brown.
Those red & white buildings look very pretty in contrast against that blue sky behind them.
ReplyDeleteNo need to say again that O'Keeffes's works are wonderful!
...red pops!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful ❤️
ReplyDeleteThat little red schoolhouse is standing up well after 145 years of Nebraska winters and freeze-thaw cycles!! The town crier has a very stylish coat.
ReplyDeleteThe town crier postcard is awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm actually wearing red today (and a nice warm autumnal red).
