What stamps will represent the letter I next week? Come back next Sunday to find out!
...I love to visit New Zealand!
ReplyDeleteSo would I, if I didn't hate to fly. It used to be okay, but no more. I sometimes feel sick just going from MFR to PDX!
DeleteAs usual, great stamps! Love the hyena.
ReplyDeleteMe too, it's different.
DeleteHappily you have a lifebuoy ring cancel on the GB stamp. Hyenas always look quite ratty in wildlife documentaries, this one seem quite well groomed, the thorn bush and rib cage is a nice touch from the artist.
ReplyDeleteI didn't even notice that until you mentioned it!
DeleteNot many stamps have hyenas on them.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I have one then!
DeleteAnd you found not one helicopter, but two :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I'd found more!
DeleteTwo helicopters! That hyena looks taller and more long necked than I expected.
ReplyDeleteThey can be 3' to the shoulder, and the spotted hyena can weigh nearly 200 lbs! They look long necked because they have sloped shoulders.
DeleteFor a minute there I thought this might be the helicopter stamp edition.
ReplyDeleteThat would have been fun!
