Motley Monday - September 1, 2025
Happy Labor Day to my fellow Americans!
The only thing different for me today is there's no mail.

Here's the usual bunch of randoms for a Motley Monday.
School started last week, but the construction of the roof for the covered area where there will be picnic tables is progressing slowly. Why didn't they start this sooner so it would be done before the students were back? The surrounding area will be just mud once it rains. There will be a paved path out there somewhere too. I have insider information, so will find out more!
My lovely big lemon cucumber has zero cucumbers.
On the other hand, Salad Bush is going a bit crazy. Someone who saw this photo said it looked like something from Chernobyl.
The plant doesn't look much better!
A lot of Pluots dried on the tree. Second year that happened, although this year there were a lot falling off too.
Dill's going to seed.
My hands sure smell like pickles after I touch it!
Longfield's Pink daylily is flowering again. Not in multiples like Brown-eyed Stella, but still flowering.
Tomorrow's Tuesday Treasures post is the one I hinted at a few weeks ago. If you want to see what $2.00 can get you in the Goodwill Bins, come back and see!
...I love the smell of dill.
