What Used to Be - July 24, 2025
Well, here I am, I don't know how many years after my first post on Lisa's Garden Adventure. And, why don't I know? Because I was very careless. Instead of permanently deleting a blog name I'd decided not to use, I deleted Lisa's Garden Adventure! Permanently. I thought I'd have 30 or 60, or whatever time period, to change my mind. Nope.
I'll leave comments on the blogs I visit, adding who I used to be. Hopefully I can be found again.
This is pretty devastating to me.
If this is your first time here, this is who I am and what I post.
Lisa
Oregon
I post about gardening.
I post about my thrift store finds on Tuesdays (Tuesday Treasures) because I am a collector of... stuff!
I join in blog hops about stamps and postcards (Sunday Stamps and Thursday Postcard Hunt).
Other blog hops throughout the week if I have the photos.
Because, my blog is all about the photos (unlike this post).

Deleted the blog? Ouch!
ReplyDeleteYeah, but I'm kind of enjoying starting from scratch. Although I keep wanting to link back to an old post, and then I remember it's not there! I can get the info off the Internet Archive, but not like importing the whole thing. My blog has been less and less gardening anyway, so the name didn't fit. I'd just changed the name a few days ago to reflect that!
DeleteWe can blame Mercury being in retrograde. (It's a convenient excuse.)
ReplyDeleteSounds good to me!
DeleteGlad to see you back, Lisa.
ReplyDeleteI am very glad you found me! I'd miss you links to your fabulous photos if you hadn't!
DeleteOh my gosh! Darn. Maybe it's too late now, but could Blogger or Google assist in resetting it? Anyway, I'll follow you wherever you blog. :)
ReplyDeleteNo, it's gone. Once I hit "permanently delete" all the information was removed from Google servers, and the URL can't be used again. I didn't think to back it up. Do you? It takes a lot of space, but I had them back up my other blog, and have to hook up my external hard-drive to save it. The Internet Archive has some of my old posts, but only a few pages a year show up. So, I'm okay with starting over! I'm less gardening than when I started anyway.
DeleteYou never think of consequences at the time but it seems like time to move on.
ReplyDeleteI hear that Oregon is a lovely state. There's a few WP bloggers I follow from there.
It's a pity there isn't a like button or an easy follow 🤔
Time will heal. But I understand the devastation of losing all those contacts and comments. Been there :(
